I've quickly grown weary of the wall-to-wall breathless fearmongering among the LameStream Media, the ABCCBCNBCCNNMSNBC Journolist types, those with the large mouths and small forebrains. I see that even Fox News is going to stick the execrable Shepherd Smith on the story starting Monday morning. Haven't those people suffered enough without that lout?
What I haven't been seeing much of is an honest, realistic, and technical assessment of the situation. Some, but not much.
Here's a change, an entry from an American who lives and works in Japan, has for a while, and, while away from the most heavily hit area, has a good read on the subject. Catch it here

The Strange Silence of Buraq Hussein Ubama and the LameStream Media
Religion of peace? Really? Bush said so. Ubama seems to agree. The MSM is all over Rep. King for daring to suggest that it might not always be so.
Yeah, right. See it here
Muslims doing what Muslims do. Murder, violence, torture. Death, destruction, misery, all in the service of their god, Satan. Allah is NOT, repeat NOT, the true Lord. Allah is a demon.
And like the servants of any demon, Muslim spread death wherever.
Egypt, in this case. Looting, burning, killing.
As the authorities, including the fire department, do nothing.
As the church, deacons and priest inside, burns.
Then these demon-besotted creeps announce their intention to hold prayers to their demon-god on the site of the blaze.
Islam delenda est!

Quote of The Day from Ronald Reagan
Today would have been the 100th birthday of Ronald Reagan, President. Lord, I do miss the man. He had a capacity, not unique but rare, for expressing with terrible clarity the actual situation. And there are records of this. He came to office at a time in many respects similar to ours, and left the nation in better shape than he found it.
Try this one.
Try this one.
"The economic ills we suffer have come upon us over several decades. They will not go away in days, weeks, or months, but they will go away. They will go away because we as Americans have the capacity now, as we've had in the past, to do whatever needs to be done to preserve this last and greatest bastion of freedom. In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem. From time to time we've been tempted to believe that society has become too complex to be managed by self-rule, that government by an elite group is superior to government for, by, and of the people. Well, if no one among us is capable of governing himself, then who among us has the capacity to govern someone else?"
--Ronald Wilson Reagan, Inaugural Address, January 20, 1981

Quote Of The Day
Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect every one who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined.... O sir, we should have fine times, indeed, if to punish tyrants, it were only sufficient to assemble the people!

Quote of the Day
"Be not intimidated... nor suffer yourselves to be wheedled out of your liberties by any pretense of politeness, delicacy, or decency. These, as they are often used, are but three different names for hypocrisy, chicanery and cowardice."
- John Adams
